Where Is It?

Where is it iconThe eastern side of Walton-on-Thames provides a charming residential community with a range of amenities and facilities. Located in the footsteps of the Queen Elizabeth II reservoir are the Cottimore Road, Shaw Drive and Regency Gardens areas complete with attractive green and picturesque pond.

What Does It Feel Like?

What does it feel like iconThe area benefits from a number of local shops along Cottimore Lane and Terrace Road including a family butchers, fishmongers, hairdressers, florist, takeaways and several convenience stores. Further north lies the contemporary Xcel Leisure Complex offering a multitude of sporting facilities including two swimming pools, a climbing wall and indoor and outdoor pitches and courts. For a relaxing meal after your sporting exertions, The Weir Hotel provides a traditional pub experience with a blazing fire and fantastic food, together with stunning views over the weir itself. Or maybe visit Alieo’s Italian Delicatessen to sample their wide selection of cured hams, delicious cheeses with a coffee.

The Housing?

housing iconThe area is popular for clients looking to have easy access to the town centre and the River Thames with its variety of pubs and walks along the river. You will find traditional 1930 Semi-detached family homes in the Cottimore avenue areas many of which are being extended into the loft, to the side and to the rear. There are also a large number of 1950 style properties in the Cottimore lane area and  these types of properties generally offer spacious rooms. There are also a number of period detached villas in the Florence Road area and 1970’s modern style properties in the Willowhayne Road area.

Getting Around?

Getting around iconThere is a local bus service which takes you to neighbouring towns such as Hampton Court East and West Molesey and Kingston upon Thames. Walton on Thames mainline station provides a fast link to Waterloo and driving is approximately a 30 minute journey to London Heathrow. The area is close to the local Leisure Centre and a short walk to the River Thames and Walton on Thames town centre.
